Sunshine and culture on all inclusive holidays to Egypt

If you want to avoid the inevitable disappointing English summer and hop on a plane to an exotic location without breaking the bank, Egypt holidays offer a number of cheap, last-minute deals for you or the family this summer.

With a plethora of culture and history, the north African country offers scorching sunshine in the summer months, with temperatures of 35 degrees C and 11 hours of sunshine a day.

Many Egyptian tourists embark on Taba holidays, a relaxing up-and-coming resort on the Sinai Peninsula and the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. Hot all year round, Taba is an ideal location if you want to visit Egypt in the winter.

If you are visiting the north African nation as a couple, then all inclusive holidays to Taba may be right up your street. The resort is set in truly romantic and picturesque surroundings, which include the red hue of the Sinai Mountains, the turquoise waters of the Red Sea and the panoramic views of Jordan.

Along with its stunning beaches and calm waters, Taba is a haven for water sports enthusiasts with its shallow reefs being easily accessible from the beach and making it easy for beginners to go scuba diving and creating an amazing experience for snorkelers.

Snorkelling is Taba's main attraction and this underwater paradise offers the opportunity to spot the likes of snappers, moray eels, rays, seahorses and the rare frogfish at dive sites such as Coral City and Pharoah's Island.

You don't even have to restrict yourself to underwater activities, with above water pursuits like waterskiing and windsurfing also extremely popular. In addition, you can hire boats to visit places such as Pharoah's Island, which boasts the 12th century castle Salah and Din, dominating the skyline for miles.

If sightseeing is more your thing, why not consider a trip to Luxor? The city boasts a variety of excellently preserved monuments that are over 4,000 years old. Luxor is on the east side of the Nile River and was once part of the ancient city of Thebes. An city described as the 'world's largest open air museum', Luxor is home to the Temple of Karnak, which took over a 1,000 years to build.

The Temple of Karnak hosts a breathtaking sound and light show with an entertaining look at Egyptian history, which is a perfect night out for the whole family. The Temple of Luxor is also well worth visiting, as is the Dromos, a long road linking the temples and including some breathtaking stone sphinxes, which are still intact today.

Holidays to Egypt also offer the chance to see the Valley of Kings, which boasts the tomb of Tutankhamen, while hot air balloon rides are available for you to see the tombs from above, creating an even more unforgettable experience.

If you are looking for the perfect way to view the sights of Egypt, you can arrange to go on a sunset cruise on the River Nile on a felucca - a traditional wooden boat - which creates a romantic scene as the sun fades out, providing a spectacular sight.

With so much to offer, why not consider an all inclusive holiday to Egypt this year?
