TWO schoolboys have been charged with the murder of a man at the weekend.
David Donnachie, 25, was found dead in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The pair, both 15-years-old, who go to school in Renfrew, are among five teenagers being investigated by cops for allegedly killing the man.
Three others aged 14, 16 and 17 have also been arrested and are currently being held in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Anne McKerchar, who is in charge of the investigation, said: "David was walking with a group of friends in Kilberry Street at Kintyre Street around 12.15am on Saturday July 18, when they became involved in an altercation with three other males.
"These males are believed to be in their late teens/early twenties."
David's 17-year-old friend was also believed to be injured and received treatment at Glasgow Royal Infirmary then later released.
An incident room was set up at Baird Street Police Office.
Detective McKerchar added: "I would urge anyone who saw this disturbance, knows the identity of those involved or has any information whatsoever, to contact the CID on telephone number 0141 532 4241.
"Alternatively, telephone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
