The Biggest Screening will be inviting audiences to Showcase Paisley to revel again in the musical majesty of the 2008 box office smash, Mamma Mia! with all proceeds from the screening going to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Based on the West End hit musical, Mamma Mia! stars Amanda Seyfried as the bride-to-be who discovers that one of three men could be her father, and invites them to a Greek Island for her wedding. The film unfolds against a backdrop of music from Swedish ‘70s giants, ABBA, and features an all-star cast including Meryl Streep, Dominic Cooper, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan.

Macmillan Cancer Support works to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. Macmillan provides practical, medical and financial support and pushes for better cancer care.

Claire Singlehurst, director of Regional Fundraising at Macmillan Cancer Support, said: “Mamma Mia! is a fantastic feel-good film and this is a great opportunity to see it again on the big screen.

"Showcase is generously donating all proceeds to Macmillan so we hope cinemas will be full.

"As a charity, we rely on donations to fund our services which provide practical, medical and financial support for people affected by cancer. No one should face cancer alone and with your support no one will.” Audiences can join in with the Biggest Screening and catch the critically acclaimed Mamma Mia! on the silver screen for just £5 at Showcase Paisley on Sunday, October 6. All proceeds from the showing will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Tickets are available now from the box office and online at www.showcasecinemas.co.uk, and are priced at £5.
