A BRILLIANT tap dancing performance by a group of Linwood women is proving to be a web sensation.

A video showing five talented ladies from the Linwood 'Stepping Out' adults tap class has been viewed thousands of times since it was posted online.

Kirsty Flannigan, who runs the class, shared the film on Linwood Development Trust's Facebook page and since then their tap, tap, tapping talents have prompted internet browsers to go click, click, click.

Kirsty features in the film with fellow Linwood women Sharron-Anne Ross, Jacqueline Donnelly, Carol Torrance and Carol Biggin from Brookfield.

Kirsty said: "The class is well established and attended by people from all age groups.

“The oldest is 77-years-old. It's not just about tap dancing to keep fit, it's the whole social aspect and the networks that come out of that.

“It's a very busy class and it seems to be getting busier through word of mouth."

If the video goes on to 'break the internet' then Kirsty may well find she is inundated with many more would-be tappers.
