Paisley celebrated the outstanding achievements of the regions best sporting talent from professionals to volunteers at the Renfrewshire Community Sports Awards 2016 last night.
The awards ceremony was hosted at Paisley Town Hall and commended individuals, men, women, coaches and teams for their successes throughout the year.
There were 12 different award categories, sponsored by a range of local business and sporting institutions across the local area.
The evenings prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award was won jointly by Terry Connell and Lindsay Lang.
And Callum Hawkins, who finished ninth at this year’s Rio 2016 Olympic marathon picked up a Special Recognition Award.
