THE sixth annual Classics Car show is ready to roll back into Castle Semple following on from last year's hugely successful event.

The event is hosted by organiser Jane Fawcett at the loch side location of Castle Semple Country Park in Lochwinnoch.

It is set to return on Sunday, October 23 from 11am to 3pm.

Last year included all the old favourites of Ford, Morris, Mgs, Jags, and Triumphs.

These were shown alongside the incredible Model T Ford Hotrods, Pontiacs, Maserati and Lincoln.

Fire trucks and even classic motorcycles even put in an appearance for the first time.

This year 80 vehicles will park up in the wonderful setting of Castle Semple.

Jane Fawcett: "Our last event was absolutely out of this world.

"The response I had from the viewing public was truly wonderful.

"I think the fact that the sun shone last year just showed everyone's cars off beautifully.

"All that chrome gleaming, polish glinting, no steamy windows for people to peer through and everyone grinning from ear to ear.

"My original idea was to have a one off show a few years ago but all my friends and car club buddies encouraged me to keep it going and with their assistance, I have.

"My favourites last year were a stunning 50 year old Transit and a Ferguson tractor driven down by my work colleague at the park."

The Car Show fills up very quickly and is a free family day out.

As the car show is in the car park, public parking is very limited.
