THE SNP have announced their candidates for the upcoming local authority elections.
A team of 12 men and 12 women will be running in the hopes of taking control of Renfrewshire Council from the current Labour administration.
This comes following Andy Doig's departure from the SNP last week.
Cllr Doig, who represents Johnstone North, Kilbarchan and Lochwinnoch made his exit after 38 years in the party.
The next local government elections are to take place on Thursday, May 4
