PARTY animals who are left suffering the morning after the night before can now get a helping hand...thanks to a ‘hangover cure delivery service’ launched by a Paisley shopkeeper

Rekz Afzal, who runs the RSA Store in Moss Street, is offering the service on Sundays, with revellers able to ease their pain by ordering everything from sugary drinks or sweets to over-the-counter medicines.

“It can be anything from groceries such as juice to other Sunday essentials such as toiletries, newspapers or cigarettes,” said Rekz. “Over-the-counter medication can also be delivered, provided it is ordered by an adult.

“The minimum order is £5, with a £2 delivery charge for the driver.

“It saves people the trouble of having to go out for these things themselves.”

Rekz also stressed that the service isn’t just for those who are feeling a bit rough after enjoying a night on the tiles.

“Anyone who can’t get out of their home can benefit from this service,” he said. “It’s also useful for elderly people, those who have to stay at home because they are caring for others and even those who are trying to avoid the bad weather.

“I do car essentials too, in case the winter weather has left vehicles unroadworthy. Our delivery service will mean customers can get their car started again.

“I can provide motorists with the likes of engine oil, break fluid, screenwash and antifreeze.”

Deliveries can be made to homes in central Paisley and the surrounding area.

At the moment, it’s a ‘cash only’ service, with receipts being provided, but Rekz plans to introduce a ‘chip and pin’ option as more customers place orders.
