THE grand opening of a new barber’s shop in Paisley really struck a chord with customers thanks to an impromptu gig by talented guitarist Liam Doyle.
Bosses at Zika Barbers, in Glasgow Road, enlisted Liam’s help to drum up business by serenading passers-by.
And the free concert proved to be a big success, with customers pouring through the doors.
The shop has been a smash hit with music lovers, thanks to the various instruments that are on display inside.
There’s even a giant mural featuring Paisley singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini, who has helped to put his home town firmly on the music map.
The opening day celebrations also included music from a DJ, free drinks and complimentary haircuts.
Zika is a new business venture by Leslie Kelly, who already owns a barber’s shop in nearby Cardonald.
The Paisley shop is managed by her 25-year-old son Lee Bain.
