AFTER battling serious illnesses such as cancer and heart failure, it’s fair to say Joyce Bunton is well aware of just how precious life is.

And the Paisley woman is using her own difficult experiences to help others by providing a valuable service as a life coach.

Joyce, 69, has long been an advocate of holistic therapies, believing they can help to ease the ever-increasing burdens being placed on the NHS.

Now she is organising workshops, talks and seminars to spread the holistic message.

“I have tried and tested all of my techniques and therapies on my own journey through life,” said Joyce. “If our belief and value systems are out of alignment, then so too are our bodies, making them susceptible to illness.

“We cannot ignore the role of our minds in moving into a more satisfying and loving relationship with life and one’s self.”

Joyce is fully qualified in practices such as reiki, reflexology, yoga and modern stress management.

She specialises in pain management and the release of fears, phobias and stress.

“It is our birthright to live joyful, healthy lives,” added Joyce, who has worked as a ‘preferred provider’ for the NHS, passing on her techniques to senior staff.

“However, our conditioning and programming have distracted us from this experience.

“In our return to joy, we need to release ourselves from this conditioning, so that we can stop reacting to life.

“Life coaching is more than a job to me, it is my dearest challenge. I have proven that leading an extraordinary life is possible for everyone.

“Most of us are living with one foot on the accelerator and one foot on the brake and are left wondering why life is so challenging.”
