THE biggest names in Scotland’s food and drink industry will be coming together for a new festival - including a Renfrewshire business.

Following the success of the London launch of the brand new Eat and Drink Festival, the event is gearing up to come to the SEC Glasgow on May 26 to 29, co-locating with the Ideal Home Show Scotland.

From the team behind the homes event, which celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2017, the new foodie festival brings together a feast for the senses, with artisan producers, chefs and food vendors on hand to showcase the latest flavours and food trends.

Celebrating the best the country has to offer in the world of food and drink, Eat & Drink Festival has something for everyone, from those who might already be a dab hand in the kitchen to the budding chefs, ready to learn the basics.

Included in the lineup is The Three Sisters Bake based in the Quarriers Village, who will be are appearing in the artisan producers market. 

The show’s highlights also include the chef's table, the foodie lab, the great eat, artisan producers market and the drinks station.

There will also be demonstrations from some of the country’s top chefs including; Hardeep Sing Kohli, Neil Forbes and Charalambous as well as Gregg Wallace and Rosemary Shrager
