A PAISLEY man is pleading for help to recover his stolen wedding ring - which was taken on the day of his wedding anniversary.

Along with his wallet, the silver band was taken from his gym bag at the Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley.

Kieron Achara said the ring, which was inside his wallet, was snatched on Wednesday, July 5 at around 10am.

It was stolen on the same day as Kieron's two year anniversary to his wife.

He said: "My wallet was taken from my sports bag while I was showering.

"My ring was in my wallet in the coin compartment.

"I don't care about the money or cards but would really appreciate it if the ring was handed in.

"It's not the best start to my wedding anniversary.

"If you have any heart please return my wedding ring."
