“We have started to harvest some of our community veg using some of our local produce at our recent Love Food Hate Waste Social cooking session.

“We have had great turnouts at our sessions, particularly the most recent Sow and Grow sessions at St Mungo’s Church, in Alexandria and the Blue Triangle, in Alexander Street.

“Along with our partners at Bellsmyre Community Gardens Group and WDC Greenspace, we continue to renovate the growing space at the Vale of Leven Academy.

“We are always looking for new volunteers to support our schools sow and grow activity.

“If you would like to help us build raised beds and to revamp some of our local schools growing spaces, please get in touch.”
