A YOUNG man has died in a quad bike crash on a busy M8 slip road near to Glasgow Airport.
The 24-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, after emergency services raced to save him.
The crash took place at Junction 29 east bound, near Glasgow Airport.
It happened on Saturday, August 12 at around 3.45pm and the road was closed until 7.20pm.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police were called to a road crash involving a quad bike on the M8 at junction 29, east bound.
“Emergency services attended and a 24-year-old-man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
