POLICE are investigating a number of break-ins at sheds in Renfrewshire villages and towns.
A lawnmower was pinched from a shed in Auchenlodment Road, Elderslie, sometime between Wednesday, August 9, and Thursday, August 10.
And, at the weekend, garden tools were snatched from two sheds in Woodside Road, Brookfield.
Meanwhile, crooks attempted to break open a shed in Fulbar Avenue in Renfrew but were unsuccessful in taking anything.
Officers have now issued a reminder to all residents to keep their property secure at all times, in a bid to deter thieves.
Police are also keen to hear from anyone who has information about the break-ins.
If you can help officers with their inquiries, call 101.
