Park Mains High School teacher Chris Wake has won the chance to see the superstars of Manchester City at close quarters after he won the chance to visit the club’s academy.

The Erskine teacher was presented with his prize by Jeb McCabe of Inspiresport, who ran the competition, and St Mirren chief executive Tony Fitzpatrick.

Chris has won transport to Manchester, overnight accommodation with dinner bed and breakfast in a four star hotel, two tickets to a Manchester City home match and a tour of their famous academy.

Inspiresport are partners of St Mirren and the Scottish Schools and Scottish Youth Football Association.

The company has brought young players from Northern Ireland, England and even as far as Australia to visit their academy at Ralston.
