BOSSES at Royal Mail are offering people the chance to earn some extra cash over the festive season.
The firm has launched a drive to recruit around 1,000 temporary workers across Scotland to help out during the busy Christmas period.
New recruits will help sort the festive post and the increasing amount of online Christmas shopping.
Temporary positions will be available from this month through to January.
Sue Whalley, Royal Mail’s chief operations officer, said: “Christmas continues to be our busiest time of year. We plan all year round to help ensure we deliver the best possible service for UK consumers and businesses at Christmas.”
