ORGANISERS of Paolo Nutini's sold out homecoming show at Paisley Abbey are giving fans one last chance to catch the show - and meet the star in person.

Fans were able to register for tickets through a ballot over the summer with 550 tickets available for the gig which takes place on Friday, October 20.

And earlier this evening, it was posted on Paolo's official Facebook page there was still hope for fans to see the Paisley crooner in action.

It said: "We have ONE pair of tickets left for Paolo’s show at The Abbey in Paisley this Friday night.

"Who wants them? These tickets come with a Paolo Nutini meet and greet. Full details coming this evening..."

Paolo is backing the Paisley 2021 UK City of Culture bid and his gig is set to be one of the star attractions of the town's Spree festival.

There will also be 100 tickets which will go to Renfrewshire community groups, and all money made by ticket sales will go to five local charities chosen by Paolo.

These are Sunshine Recovery Cafe, Mirren Park School, The Love Street Singers, The Kibble Band and some of the town’s Syrian refugee children.
