FORMER pupils were invited back to Haldane Primary School on Thursday to take a trip down memory lane before the school closes its doors for good.
The Miller Road school held a farewell event so former pupils could take a look around the building and remember the school days they enjoyed in years gone bye.
And commemorative bags were also on sale so people could get their hands on a wee momento too.
In addition there was a gallery of old pictures and some pupils were able to pick themselves out from class photos from many years ago.
A £16million education campus is to be built and will be named Balloch Primary. The campus is being built on the site of the former St Kessog’s Primary and will accommodate a new St Kessog’s, co-located with an amalgamated Jamestown and Haldane primary school, along with an additional support needs unit and early learning/childcare centre.
