Man arrested after allegedly being found with knife and crashing car
A MAN was arrested after allegedly being caught with a knife in Lochwinnoch this morning.
The 31-year-old was caught by police after crashing a car in Calder Street at around 1.45am and was charged for drug-driving.
He was then found to have a lockable knife on him.
He is set to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court tomorrow.
A 13-year-old boy was also charged by police after allegedly being caught with a knife in Floors Street, Johnstone, on Friday evening.
Police have submitted a report to the Children's Panel.
