TWELVE illegal air weapons and almost £5,000 worth of alleged controlled drugs have been recovered from a home in Paisley.
Police officers found the items when they carried out a search of an address in Glenburn under a sheriff's search warrant today.
A number of bladed weapons were also surrendered.
Inspector Tracey Harkins, of Paisley Police, said: "I am delighted with the success of this operation which was carried out by our local Anti-Violence Team as part of a week-long initiative.
"In total, 12 weapons were recovered. Although there is no evidence to suggest that any of the weapons have been used during the commission of a crime, this seizure ensures that such weapons are removed from society and prevents them being used in such a manner."
