A CHARITY which works with kids who are battling emotional distress has been handed a cash boost.
Paisley Child Contact Centre has been awarded £1,000 by the Scottish Children’s Lottery.
The charity works with children to help relieve emotional distress caused by the break-up of relationships and enables youngsters to meet with their parents in a comfortable environment.
Chairman David Barr said: “The grant will go a long way to meeting the costs of running the charity in bespoke premises and ensuring our volunteers meet the relevant child protection safeguards.”
The Scottish Children’s Lottery launched in October 2016 and proceeds help to improve the lives of children across the country.
