All Renfrewshire schools and nurseries will remain closed tomorrow due to continuing adverse weather conditions.
Schools across the area have been shut since Wednesday morning after heavy snowfall brought many areas of central Scotland to a standstill.
A red weather warning expired at 10am today but the highest amber warning is still in place until tomorrow morning.
A Renfrewshire Council spokesman said: "All Renfrewshire Council schools and nurseries will be CLOSED tomorrow, Friday 2 March, due to ongoing severe weather alerts.
"We will continue to post updates on our social media channels and website."
