CONDITIONS for drivers are improving across Renfrewshire after two days of extreme weather.
However some in and out of villages remain closed due to drifting snow.
Midton Road in Howwood still has very deep snow running along it and the back road from Bridge of Weir to Kilbarchan is also shut.
Drivers should also avoid Brookfield which is mostly blocked off by snow.
The following routes are currently clear and fine to drive on with care:
- Main roads through Johnstone and Paisley
- A737 and A761
- A726 Barnsford Road in Erskine and Inchinnan
- Barrhead Road in Hawkhead/Dykebar
- Beith Road in Johnstone
- Foxbar Road and Brediland Road
- Glasgow Road in Ralston
- Kilburnie Road in Lochwinnoch
- Glenfield Road, Glenburn Road, Braehead Road and Neilston Road in Glenburn
- All main roads in Renfrew
