TWO-WHEEL enthusiasts will be hitting the road for the ever-popular Erskine Motorbike Meet at the end of the month.
The classic event will be taking place on Sunday, May 27, and a few keen bikers got together for a photoshoot last week to promote it.
Now in its 12th year, the event has become a highlight in the Erskine charity’s calendar and features hundreds of motorbikes, trikes and scooters as riders turn out to support veterans and their families cared for by the cause.
Last year more than £8,000 was raised for Erskine with scores of military personnel going along to show support.
Anyone wishing to take part in the motorbike meet should arrive at Park Mains High School for a 12.40pm departure.
Riders will arrive at the Erskine Home at around 1pm, and the event will finish at 5pm.
If anyone would like to support the event through sponsorship at the show or by donatng a prize for the raffle, call Jennifer Campbell on 0141 814 4729.
