Town centre street shut after man hit by car
A STREET in Johnstone town centre was closed for hours last night after an elderly man was hit by a car.
The incident happened just before 5pm in MacDowall Street.
The 75-year-old man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley and medical staff have said he is in a stable condition.
