ALL roads led to Erskine on Sunday as hundreds of petrolheads revved up for a special event.

The annual Erskine Motorbike Meet saw more than 600 vehicles involved in a parade to raise money for ex-servicemen and women.

An impressive selection of motorbikes, trikes and scooters could be seen at the Erskine Estate, in Bishopton, with people of all ages going along to offer their support.

Among the highlights was a procession of two and three-wheeled machines from Park Mains High School, led by pipers and drummers.

Proceeds from the event will help the Erskine charity continue to provide help to brave veterans.

Erskine volunteer Heather Clissett, who organises the event, said:“We were very fortunate to have great support from Paisley Sea Cadets, Erskine Music Media Studios and Police Scotland Youth Volunteers.

"The communities of Erskine and Bishopton are always so welcoming and it’s very much appreciated.”
