A RENFREWSHIRE company has been chosen to carry out major electrical work at Inchinnan Primary School.

The project, which will see most of the existing electrical services at the school replaced, will be carried out by Clark Contracts.

It’s one of three contracts across Renfrewshire won by the Paisley-based firm, which will also be responsible for completing the external refurbishment of West Primary in Paisley and the building of an extension featuring two new classrooms at St John Ogilvie Primary, also in Paisley.

Gordon Cunningham, managing director of Clark Contracts, said: “It is fantastic to be awarded these three local school projects and we look forward to working with Renfrewshire Council to complete the works.”

Clark Contracts recently completed the refurbishment and extension of Mossvale Primary School and Nursery Class and St James’ Primary School and the construction of St Fergus Primary School, both in Paisley – contracts with a total value of more than £8million.

Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd has six operating divisions and employs more than 250 staff throughout the UK.

The firm was listed as 72 on the 2018 Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for List.
