The heatwave sweeping the nation is set to hit a high tomorrow as the mercury reaches 30 degrees celsius.
Residents across Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire have been soaking up the sun today as temperatures soared to the highest of the year so far.
Temperatures have been in the mid-20s Celsius, with the warm spell set to continue for the rest of the week.
Health warnings are already being shared for tomorrow as temperatures look set to reach their highest yet this year in the area, with the sunny weather to peak late afternoon tomorrow.
The good weather is not limited locally, with the entire west of Scotland enjoying a good spell.
Sarah Kent, Met Office meteorologist, said: "In the western part of Scotland, we really only have one or two clouds.
"Temperatures are still climbing, even as we speak - horses don't cross the line until 4pm or 5pm.
"We're really, really keeping our fingers crossed we will cross 30C."
