THE sun was shinning as villagers in Langbank soaked up fun at their annual gala day.
Plenty of entertainment was on offer, with stalls set up by youth groups, a tombola led by the local church and a bouncy castle for kids to enjoy.
And it was a day to remember for Callum Dymock and Freya Gilmore, who were first to cross the line in the fun runs.
Meanwhile, Copper and Kiera wowed judges in the Prettiest Dog and Waggiest Tail contests.
Jacqueline Doherty, part of the organising committee, said: "Everybody enjoyed themselves and had a great afternoon.
"It was a chance to have a get together with everyone and the children seemed to have fun, which is what it is all about.
"The weather certainly helped, as it always does in these sorts of things, and we were able to have a really great day."
