KIND-HEARTED animal lovers are being sought to help raise much-needed funds for the Scottish SPCA.
Scotland’s animal welfare charity is urging people to get involved this Scottish Animal Week, which runs from Monday, September 3, to Sunday, September 9, by raising funds in their local area.
Anna O’Donnell, manager of the charity’s animal rescue and rehoming centre in Cardonald, said: “During Scottish Animal Week we have opportunities to fundraise throughout the local area and we’d be really grateful if people can get behind our appeal and help.
“Door-to-door fundraising can be carried out between Monday and Friday, while people can hold street collections on the Saturday.
“Even if someone can only spare an hour or two to collect vital funds, their time and efforts would be hugely appreciated.”
Anyone who would like to help fundraise is asked to call the SSPCA fundraising team on 03000 999 999. Alternatively, send an email to fundraising@scottishspca.org.
