GLASGOW Airport is set to receive a share of nearly 300 new recruits as part of expansion plans at Scottish airports.
Budget airline Jet2 is set to create the new roles for Glasgow and Edinburgh airports.
The plan includes a new route to Bourgas in Bulgaria and a flight to Izmir in Turkey from the Renfrewshire hub.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “This is our biggest ever recruitment drive in Scotland, and once again demonstrates our commitment to investing in our customers and in people’s careers.”
In total, more than 150 cabin crew and more than 100 ground operations staff are to be recruited, along with experienced pilots for roles on the flight deck.
