TRAIN fanatics are being urged to visit the Renfrewshire Model Railway Exhibition later this year.
The event will be held in Johnstone Town Hall on Saturday, November 10, from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday, November 11, from noon to 4pm.
There will be around 18 model train layouts of varying scales featuring iconic British locomotives, and there will be six trade stands buying and selling various model train-related items including coaches, wagons, buses, books, DVDs and scenic materials.

An interactive zone will also feature at the event where visitors are encouraged to participate in the operation of a Lego layout and a Scalextric race track.
A cafe will be open serving meals, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks will be available.

Entry for adults is £5, concessions £4 and children £2. A family ticket for two adults and two children is £11.
