Kirsty Mure was facing trial at Paisley Sheriff Court over three court cases.

Prosecutors claimed that Mure, who is in a relationship with Mark McSkimming, clashed with his ex in January this year.

The mother-of-three was accused of posting messages on Facebook in which she threatened violence against the woman and threatened to murder her.

Court papers alleged she behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by posting the messages from her home in Erskine’s Park Ridge.

She also faced trial over claims she had assaulted the same lady on the same day in Park Hill.

She denied pulling her hair, causing her to fall to the ground, straddling her body and raining punches on her head, leaving her injured.

And she denied a third charge in another case that she had broken bail conditions not to approach or enter Park Bank by being in the street on February 28 this year.

When Mure, 34, appeared in the dock last week, prosecutors dropped the Facebook threat and assault cases while Mure pled guilty to breaking her bail conditions.

Robert Fraser, prosecuting, told the court that the complainer has CCTV cameras on her house and captured Mure in the street.

He said the complainer’s son saw Mure on a screen showing what the cameras are recording and contacted the police.

The advocate said both the accused and complainer were in a relationship McSkimming and that was the background to the case.

Joya Maudlin, defending, told the court the complainer and his client’s new partner, Mr McSkimming, were in a relationship for several years.

He added: “The accused tells me the complainer is not able to come to terms with the fact that Mr McSkimming is not going to go back to her.

“They live in adjoining roads and had been to the pub, their local bar. They thought they’d take the quick road home.” Sheriff Pettigrew fined her £200, reduced from £250 because she admitted her guilt.

He said: “You chose not to get a taxi home. You should not have been where you were and I can’t ignore that.”
