NEW weekend nightbus services from Glasgow to Johnstone and Erskine are among a host of improvements set to be launched across Renfrewshire.

Operators Arriva is set to introduce dozens of service changes, with additional services coming into force from Monday (November 7), including the introduction of newer buses and better service frequency.

As well as the additional nightbus, Johnstone will also benefit from improvements to several other services, with the Johnstone Castle to town centre bus running every ten minutes, along with the Johnstone Castle to Paisley (via Quarrelton) service.

The Royal Alexandra Hopsital service will now run every 20 minutes, and the Spateston to Johnstone bus every 10 minutes.

In Erskine, the North Barr Turning Circle will now be served all day, while half hourly services will now run between Erskine and Clydebank. The popular Renfrew bus will run every five minutes.

Further service information will be made available online at www.arrivabus.co.uk/scotland
