A GUTSY group of mum's who bared all for a Calendar Girl's style shoot have raised an incredible £1,033 for veterans' charity Erskine.

Twelve local mums, all from Erskine, Bishopton and Inchinnan, created their very own naked calendar last year in a series of photoshoots before the 2013 calendar went on sale in October last year.

They have now sold more than 120 calendar's in just three months and have only 30 more left to go up for sale.

A distinct military theme shows some of the ladies posing on top of an army tank and alongside a group of soldiers.

The ladies were able to maintain their decency with the help of a few of the with strategically placed objects - some of which included an army tank, watering can, cocktail jugs, a Christmas tree and a piano.

Each of the women have described the experience as both 'hilarious' and 'liberating.'

Mum of two Evelyn Smith, 53, from Erskine said: "When I first put the suggestion for a naked calendar on the EBI Mums Facebook page I really didn't expect to get a reply so to get the response I did was absolutely unreal.

"We are all delighted to have sold so many calendar\u2019s in such a short time. All the ladies are really chuffed."

The thrilled ladies presented the cheque to Erskine Hospital last Friday (January 18).

Handing it over to Erskine Fundraiser Alan Moss, Evelyn, who was also Miss December in the calendar, said: "I thoroughly enjoy fundraising and when I was thinking about my next fundraising project I couldn't think of anything more worthwhile than raising vital funds for Erskine Hospital.

"Offers flooded in from ladies wanting to take part. It was great fun and for a great cause.
