Donning their favourite tartan outfits as an ode to wordsmith Robert Burns, the children took part in a range of activities including sing-a-longs and reciting poetry.
And they were soon hooked on haggis and shortbread after indulging in some tasty Scottish treats.
A spokeswoman for the school said: “They all had a great day and learned a lot about Robert Burns.
“I think they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it was a fun day had by all.”
