A Johnstone man is due in court today over claims he was carrying a knife.
The 24-year-old was arrested by police in the High Street earlier today.
He is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court this afternoon accused of being in possession of an offensive weapon.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "If you have any information or knowledge relating to persons who may be carrying a weapon you can report them contacting us on 101 or by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where the information can be passed anonymously."
