POLICE are on the hunt for two men who are suspected of assaulting a man in Johnstone yesterday.
The 22-year-old was stabbed at around 9.45am in Dimity Street near to its junction with High Street.
The man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley with neck and shoulder injuries before being released later on.
Police are now searching for two suspects - one man was wearing dark-coloured clothing and a beanie hat and was last seen in a silver Honda Civic.
Detective Constable Louise Kane said: “At the time of the attack, the High Street would have been quite busy and I would urge anyone who witnessed this incident or observed the car in the area to contact police immediately.”
