TENANTS in Johnstone had a cracker of a day as they held a festive fundraiser over the weekend.
Ferrier Court turns 30 years old at the end of the month and on Monday, November 27, residents will throw a party to mark the milestone.
The Christmas fair at the weekend saw dozens of residents turn out to help raise £1,200 which will go towards the knees-up and other events throughout next year including the annual Burns supper.
Revellers enjoyed tombola and raffles plus a variety of stalls including bric-a-brac, cakes and guess the name of the teddy bear.
Secretary Margaret Fairlie, who has been associated with the complex since 1987, told The Gazette: “The fair went really well and we raised an incredible amount.”
