THE St Vincent’s Hospice store in Johnstone is offering the public the chance to win a giant bear just in time for Christmas
Customers can pop into the shop at 43 High Street to donate £1 to be in with the chance of winning Buddy the Bear – all they have to do is guess his birthday.
The prize will be drawn on December 15.
Also in time for the festive season, the store has launched a gift sale, which includes toiletries, jewellery, toys and novelty items.
St Vincent’s Hospice, based in Howwood, cares for local people affected by life-limiting illness.
The Johnstone store is open from 10am to 3.30pm during the week and from 10am to 1pm on Saturday.
Meanwhile, an afternoon of glamour and fun is on the cards at a fundraising ladies lunch being organised by hospice bosses.
The Christmas Sparkler event – which includes a three-course meal and dancing – takes place at the Grand Central Hotel, in Glasgow, on Sunday, December 3, and will be hosted by entertainer Steve McKenna.
