Star's car trashed
RANGERS star Kyle Lafferty's plush sports car was attacked by vandals as he filled up at a Johnstone petrol station.
The Northern Ireland ace's Bentley was trashed by the yobs as he paid for fuel at the town's Morrisons supermarket last Monday (November 21).
It is thought the culprits may have smashed the car's windows. Police are treating the incident as "sectarian", and have launched an investigation.
Lafferty, who recently moved to nearby Kilmacolm, had reportedly been abused by the vandals shortly before the mindless attack.
It is the second time the £15,000-a-week striker has been the victim of car vandalism, with fizzy juice poured into his Bentley Continental in February.
A police spokeswoman confirmed officers were investigating a potential sectarian breach of the peace at a petrol station in Johnstone at around 7pm on Monday, November 21.
