HOLLYWOOD heartthrob Johnny Depp is set to arrive in Johnstone next summer for his upcoming role in a Tim Burton film. The Pirates of The Carribean star, who is best known for his weird and wonderful A-list roles, will descend on Johnstone Castle in an exciting new coup for the town.
A source told The Gazette: "This is going to be an amazing opportunity for Johnny, who has always had a love for Scotland's history.
"Johnstone Castle is the perfect setting for the film and he is honoured to be starring as the lead character in this quirky film.
"We can't give too many details about the movie yet but Johnny will be in his element playing a quirky character that the public will love."
