The victims had their faces slashed open during the early hours of Sunday morning.
It is understood that one of the men, aged 32, was also stabbed multiple times during the horror attack in the town’s High Street.
Neighbours described the scene in the close as a “bloodbath” as detectives hunted down the knifeman on Monday.
