Woman battered by group at Colourfest festival
A CLUBBER was battered by a group of women at the Colourfest festival over the weekend.
The 19-year-old was rushed to hospital with a broken ankle caused by the unprovoked attack.
Around three girls were involved in the assault which took place in the early hours of Sunday, June 5 at the Braehead Arena in Renfrew.
The victim has since been released from the Queen Elizabeth hospital after receiving treatment.
Police are checking CCTV from the venue to try and indentify the gang and enquiries are still continuing.
