A MAN was stabbed in the stomach in a Renfrew property and is suffering from serious injuries.
The incident happened at a house in Paisley Road on Friday, September 2 at 6.30am.
Emergency services were called and a man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital with wounds to his torso.
Chief Inspector Simon Wright who is the Area Commander based at Johnstone said: “We were called to house in Renfrew regarding a serious assault.
"The incident happened at Paisley Road and the victim is receiving treatment at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
“A woman has been assisting with our enquiries.”
