MCDONALD'S have been given a glamorous makeover as the fast-food chain unveils its new designer gourmet burger boxes.
The restaurant has teamed up with fashion icon Julien Macdonald OBE, whose designs have been worn by A-list celebs.
And now the fashionista is taking on the fast food world after crafting the luxury burger boxes for the McDonald's Signature Collection.
These will be available in over 900 McDonald’s restaurants across the UK by the end of the year following a successful trial.
The premium burgers come in three variations – The Classic, The BBQ and The Spicy.
Each of them are said to include quality ingredients and 20mm thick beef patties.
The bling-tastic containers are printed with Julien's trademark crystal detailing and embellishment.
Local McDonald’s franchisee Peter O’Keefe said: “I am delighted to bring The Signature Collection to Renfrew.
"We’ve had a fantastic reaction from our customers to the transformation of the restaurant, and these new burgers are a great example of what can be achieved as a result.
"The Signature Collection is a really exciting addition to our menu, and I can’t wait to hear what our customers think."
