A YOUNGSTER from Renfrew got an early taste of life on the silver screen when she became one of just six Brownies in the UK chosen to star in a Girlguiding film.
Nine-year-old Ellis Sharp jetted off to London to be one of the main faces of a campaign which aims to get more people in their 20s and 30s to become Guides and Brownies leaders.
The Newmains Primary School pupil had to record a video audition to secure a part in the film.
And she said she felt like a superstar during her London trip.
Ellis added: “I got to meet other Brownies from England. I liked seeing all of the hair and make-up desks and the cameras were so cool.
“I like when they shouted ‘action’ and used their clapper-board. We had to do lots of takes until they got it just right.”
Her proud mum Leanne, 39, said: “Ellis is a real character and she has been so excited since she got back from London. I think she enjoyed getting a taste of Hollywood.”
