TINY dancers have joined forces to honour Leighanne Sanderson at a special show.
The event will also honour the memory of three-year-old Renfrew girl Layla Greene, who sadly lost her battle with cancer last month.
Dancers from Jazzle Dazzle dance school, in Renfrew, came up with the idea of a mass dance event to bring together clubs from across the area.
Youngsters from all over Renfrewshire will take part in the L&L Love Aid event to support the families of Leighanne and Layla.
Jazzle Dazzle teacher Jackie Bryceland is helping the dancers organise the show at the Lagoon, in Paisley on March 31.
She said: “So many of the children in Renfrew and further afield have been touched by Leighanne’s story and saddened by Layla’s death. After initially feeling helpless, they were determined to do something that would bring the community together and help the families affected.
“Layla’s cousin Lexi, who is only seven, was dancing a routine after her death with tears running down her face.
“After her friends comforted her, they decided they wanted to take action.”
