A SHOCKED community has rallied round to raise vital cash to hold a funeral for a dad who died after an alleged attack.
The victim never recovered from the alleged incident and died five weeks later in hospital.
Friends, shop owners and kind-hearted locals helped collect the money after concerns were raised last month when it was revealed that the family did not have the money to return his body home. Nachhatar Singh Bola, 36, was allegedly attacked on Friday July 2 in Thomson Street, just off Porterfield Road, in Renfrew.
